Sims open for business faq

It needs a rover base for recharging the batteries of the robot. Never fear, for swift justice is yours with this new flying protection robot. Protect your homer, car, and everything else you hold dear. Sorry, a cape's not included with this mechanical hero. This can be used by age groups of children, teenagers, young adults, adults and elders. When broken and used, it will stun people at random and can kill them.

This robot is pretty useful. It will zap those how are planning to shoplift in your stores and those robbers. It will also zap those who would like to steal your newspaper, your garden gnome or kick your garbage bin over. Finally, some justice to those who kick over my bin.

Several notes though. It can kill people when it stuns them. It is like failing to repair an item and gets a nasty shock. It needs a hover base for this to recharge. When you shock people with this item, it will make them run away from your lot extremely fast as if they don't want another round with this beast. You desire something tasty and just don't want to leave that oh-so-comfortable apparatus upon which you sit. Introducing this robotic hunger solver, the cute and lovable robot who delivers delicious vittles for you.

You'll never cook again! This can be used by the age groups of children, teenagers, young adults, adults and the elders. This must be turned off before you can fix it. This does not include the depreciation. When broken and used, it will bring back food that has been burnt. This robot is a dual edged sword. It will get you food when anyone on the lot has their hunger bar drop below half way a fair bit.

The downside is that is cannot make it free, therefore, you will have to pay for the food that your robot delivered. It can deliever pizza and chinese food for a price that you would normally pay and the cost of making a cookable food it paid for those meals that cannot be ordered. So if it brought back a turkey, you would have to pay the cost of making a turkey. This will bring back burnt food that you will have to pay for the same when it is broken.

It will need a hover base to recharge during every flight. It will fly out of your lot and be gone from your lot while it is getting your food. Periodic bursts of wanton destruction?

Indeed, check. This friendly humanoid robot is truly but one step from humanity. This Servo robot has a gender-assignable artifical intelligence unit that simulates all the desires of a real human: friendship, success Just make sure you keep the Servo Model in a good mood, else you'll be the one cleaning up all the ash piles while your new friend lies sparking in the corner.

This can be activated by anyone who wants to activate it. When broken, it will electrocute and shock Sims, and can kill them. This is the best thing that is in the game so far. First of all, when you decide to activate Servo, you need to look at your personality. The member that activite Servo will have their personality and their aspiration copied by Servo.

You can decide if you want Servo to be male or female. Servo will start off with some random talent badges. Servo will have 10 cooking points, 10 mechanical points and 10 cleaning points automatically assigned to him. The other skills are determined by the skills of the person who activated Servo. Servo cannot grow old, and cannot rust. He can still be killed by fire, flies, satellites, sickness, etc. If Servo enters anything with water, such as a pool, a shower, a hot tub, etc, he or she will lose their power rating extremely quickly that he might die.

Servo is like any Sim except he or she cannot try for baby. They can create other Servos provided he has the required gold talent badge. They also have a special flirt interaction called "Tune Up" Servo has four needs, power, fun, social and environment. Power is just like energy. To recover the lost energy, he will need to go into sunlight, that is 7am to 7pm and recharge with the sunlight. Servo will be able to power down by clicking on him when needed. He will do chores such as cleaning, cooking etc automatically because it is programmed like that.

More on Servo later, this is just a simple rundown. When Servo is out of power, either by working him too hard or by drowning himself in water, which happens in Seasons a lot, he will decide to run amok which will make controlling him difficult.

You can cancel his action all you like but he will continue to run around and be amok. When he or she finally stops, you have to repair the Servo before you can commission it for service again. Note that Servo is not armed with the grenade launchers that he was armed with in SimCity 4. Also, he is basically the same as the Servo in the Sims 1. He can change clothing by clicking on him and change to formal.

Then is all seems normal, except for that one eye that he has that make him look like a cyclops. Is it my hair? Do I stink? In the romantic comedy of life, sometimes you're the one left with a handful of daisies. Run your fingers over their soft petals and fragile stems. The experience is pure and natural, as if these wildflowers weren't actually grown in an industrial greenhouse.

Disregard the facts and accept the wild experience of this Bouquet. Your heart awakens and beats furiously as love fills the air. Why tulips have such a profound effect, you will never know. That's for them to know. You know All too often flowers are grouped and bunched according to colour and size.

Here, they mingle freely -- a variety of colours, fragrances, and level of toxicity. Enjoy, but don't ingest. You write cute notes for your sweetheart's sack lunch, and always embrace tender moments with a pat on the back and a high-five.

That's why you naturally love roses -- the high-five of the botanical world. Snapdragons are small and cute! Dragons live in a cave. Snapdragons live in a vase! Dragons eat cattle and wayward villagers. Snapdragons eat But they live in a vase! And they're cute. There are two bouquets, one is good, one is evil. The Good Bouquet will spray a pink mist every hour or so, boosting all of the need bars into the green except for Environment.

The evil one however, will spray the green mist which will sap your needs. It will not touch the 2 E's, Energy and Environment. These have stackable effects and work in a 3 tile radius. Therefore, it would resemble something like a circle. While you are selling these items, the Snapdragons will activate their effects. Little do they know Sir Bricks-a-Lot can learn to tame mythical beasts and play dead.

Those who are quick to judge will never see such wonders, but one with patience They are quick and cheap to make, making it the staple diet of the toy production world. You Sims will love this toy, acting like a pet. Your Sims will grow to love and nurture it as if it were real, too bad real pets came along in the Pets expansion pack. Grab your axe and ladder and save those who need saving.

They won't mind if you chop down their door, because you're a little hero! Theys are more expensive to make than that lovely brick, but makes more money and looks far superior to that little brick. Your Sims will play with this toy as it flys through the air. However a vehicle flys is beyond me, but it would be a sight.

They love to have a nice look as the lights flash and they have a hell of a time. Well, it just proves that there is a child in all of us. It can take years to master the subtle nuances, the fine brush strokes and, If you have the time and patience, you too can be a master of this craft. Be careful though, this is not to be taken lightly. One miss-stroke, one careless touch and it may be You-In-A-Box. It is much more fun to play around with and it will require a Bronze Toy Making Badge to make one of these.

They take about the same time to make as the Fire Truck and is a much better end product. Most Boxes will end up with the Sim turning the crank and laughing their heads off as the clown pops out and gives them a nice scare. This is the good version however. The evil version, identified through the Black outside of the box, will scare the Sim with an evil face, giving them a bad memory and dropping the needs as a bonus.

Some Sims even develop a fear of this. One day at the park he noticed some children had fashioned a piece of cloth between a couple of sticks. The children were throwing these objects into the air, where they would hover for a few moments and then fall to the ground. The light of genius went on and Brink knocked down the unsuspecting children, taking the object for himself.

After attaching a string to the end of his new found creation, Brink had finally done it! The kite was born. This is much cheaper than the counterpart to the Kite. This will provide loads of fun to your Sims. If there is good wind, your Sim will throw this up into the air and have fun as they try to get the kite to fly as high as possible. There is an evil version to this kite however as when it gets thrown into the air, it is struck by lightning and the Sim, who unfortunately doesn't have a key on the end of the line, gets struck by lightning and electrocuted.

Don't let your child become confused and depressed with the difficulties that life is sure to bring! Get them spinning now and let them wobble for a lifetime!

This toy is only usable for children and toddlers. Babies would be too confused to understand and teenagers would be too busy talking on blogs and chatting online. Just watch the little kids run around and spin around this machine.

Quite entertaining. Yes, it's wet, we all know that. But it's also fun! Fun to look at! Fun to run through! Fun to splash and play in. Lets all get wet in this wiggly water toy, because water makes life fun. And wet! This is the best toy you can manufacture. Its an octopus sprinkler. It squirts out water as your Sims run around and jump around in this, making them increase their fun bar. Of course, this also has an evil side, a conspiracy to make your lawn full of puddles.

Of course, that would lead to a low environment and someone would have to clean up. This is another dessert, and probably the 6th dessert that you can cook. Now there is the berry pie. It basically is really a cake that has a bunch of icing and berries on top. I believe that the American translation will be Cherry Pie. Same thing. To cook this, you will need a cooking skill of 5 at least.

You cannot prepare this for single plates, it can only be for Group Meals. It has an extra bonus which will be added later. After the Pie, there is the Cheesecake. Like any other Dessert, it cannot be served in single plates. You will need a cooking skill of 7 to cook this cake.

When you have a pregnant mother, if you eat some cheesecake, you will always have twins. This bunks the spaghetti rumours and any other twins rumour.

Now we definitely have a food that makes twins. This proves ownership of the building. If you lose the deed, there is no need to worry that you have lost ownership of the lot, it simply means that you have to use the phone and order another deed to that community lot.

This can be done under the businesses function. This deed can also be traded and given to other Sims to let them have owner- ship to the building. When you sell the community lot, the deed to that community lot will be forfeited since you offically don't own that lot anymore.

So don't trot around like an employer when you are only a customer. This award shows the first Simoleon that you have made on the lot. Note that this award is also given out on home business compared to no deed on home businesses.

This award, when placed gives a nice small boost to the sales bar when a customer is considering to purchase something. You apparently get to keep this item when you sell that lot since it is an award.

This can only be given out by the secret reviewer who could be anyone, but will make notes on a notepad so watch out. This is the second prize from the reviewer, the first being the award below.

So basically, this will make your business two levels higher than it actually is for a few days. This will help rake in more customers and more chances to actually level up your business.

This is quite handy when you aren't making much in sales. To obtain this boost to your business, you have to befriend the secret review- er and get two or less stars towards your business. Note that you can't have negative points from the reviewer. The exact stats are traffic to the lot is increased as if your level has increased by 2 for 3 days. New customers will arrive to your lot faster when customers leave. Also, the buy bar is increased by 15 points.

This award is given out by the secret reviewer and it has a very helpful effect to your business. This award will cause customers to have a bigger boost to the initial sales bar when they are about to buy something.

This acts in the same way as the First Simoleon Award but it provides a bigger boost and has a large area of effect compared to the First Simoleon Award.

To obtain this award, you have to get more than 2 stars with the Secret Reviewer. This may seem like a hard feat to perform but if you have access to the poker table from Nightlife, it isn't all that hard to convince him to sit down and gamble for a long time. This is definitely the award to strive for and is the best prize you can get from the reviewer. The worst award from the reviewer is listed below. This is the fourth prize from the reviewer, the first being the Best of the Best award, second being the good review and the third being nothing.

This bad review is the exact opposite of the good review. This award, for a couple of days or so, will give your business a -2 Level effect, which will make the business two levels lower than what it really is.

This will remove the max amount of customers by two. To earn this, for those who just want to, you have to create -2 stars with the secret reviewer. This can't really be done unless your service is really dirt poor or you just fight him or her or something. Not good for those who are just starting and need to make money. The exact stats are that traffic to the lot is decreased as if the level of the business has been decreased by 2 for 3 days. New customers will arrive slower when you old customers leave and the buy bar loses 15 points when a customer is about to buy.

A negative rank will provide a negative of that amount. Note: The amount of Customers on the lot will depend on your computer. Although the maximum of Sims is 10, your Computer can sometimes make the limit down to 4 or some number, depending on the processing speed and the ram on your Computer.

For each rank that you gain on this table, you will get another point that you can invest in business perks. Quite handy really. The former will be explained later on, but the latter will be explained now. There are ups and downs to both of them. Home businesses are intrusive to your home but if the client base is small, its perfect. However, for those truly big businesses, you will have to develop a community lot.

And also, for a community lot will be accessable to other Sims in the neighbourhood, since the ability to visit residential lots is still barred in the game. To purchase a community lot, use the computer or the telephone, or the mobile phone if you have one, and choose the Real Estate option.

Then, select the purchase Community Lot option. You can now select the neighbourhood and then pick the lot that takes your fancy. You can purchase it provided you have the money to purchase it. If you can purchase it, purchase it and the Deed will pop up in your Inventory. There are several items that you will need to start a fledging business. The first is the Open and Closed sign that is obtainable in the Decorative section under Misc. This allows you to open and close the business, effectively ending trading hours, or opening up shop.

The second item, if you wish to sell items, is to have a cash register. This is how the money is made when the Sim decides to purchase an item. There is a downside, if the Sim takes too long, the customer will dump the goods and leave the store.

This is done through the Electronics section, then Misc. To sell goods, you will need to have some things to display them. There are several ways to do so. If you want shelves, it is obtainable under the Shelving section under Surfaces and Misc under Surfaces for Shelves and the Car Display respectively.

Of course, for cars, you will need Nightlife. General I installed this expansion pack, and now my sim keeps fereezing, can someone help? General How can I increase the number of customers? General More Questions ». The Sims passes million mark Updated Apr 16, The Sims take the Stage Updated Sep 5, EA's Q1 earnings slip 4 percent Updated Aug 1, Keep me logged in on this device. Gold - You are now speedy gonzalez in the Toy Robot department, and you can also make all of the above robots even quicker.

But here's the clincher. Now you can make You don't know who that is? You'll just have to wait until later to find out. The toys you make can provide lots of fun for children, but like I said nothing that you can make is really very useful. You need a toy making bench to earn the badges and make toys. Bronze - You speed up when you are making Sir-Bricks-a-lot and you have figured out how to fire truck and clown in a box.

Like before, I will go into detail a little bit later in the guide Silver - You can make the above three faster than before and can now craft kites and twirl, spin and wobble! Lucky you. Gold - Now you can churn out Sir-Bricks-a-lot easily, but why would you want to when you can make the other four very fast as well? Also now you can make a water wiggler if you really want to. In my opinion, I think that this ranks below the other five badges mentioned so far.

If you run a salon it can be very useful, but apart from that the only other useful time would be if you desperately needed to change somebody's appearance.

This allows you to change people's face and hair, but can sometimes go wrong. Badly wrong. Bronze - You quite often fail when trying to fix people up, but you are better at it than when you had no badge. Silver - Still a small chance of failing, but you are getting better, still room for improvement though.

Gold - Now you rarely fail, and if you do, you can put it right in a jiffy. It isn't really a worthwhile skill, unless you have a house with a low environment rating, in which case the flowers you make can increase that rating. You need a flower arranging station to earn the badges and arrange flowers. Bronze - You can make Daisy Bouquets fater than before see below for prices and have gained the ability to make Wildflower bouquets and Tulip bouquets.

You make these two pretty slowly though. Silver - Increase the speed of the three mentioned above, and get the ability to make Mixed Flower bouquets and Rose bouquets. There's only one more step to go, work hard. Gold - You can make Daisy Bouquets at the drop of a hat now, and you can also make the other four above much quicker.

Plus you can make Snapdragon bouquets. To fix a broken robot, turn it off then click on it and repair it. It is quicker to reapair when being repaired by somebody with high mechanical skill. These are the least interesting robots around, they don't do much. They basically just provide fun for all ages.

You don't need any talent badges to make it, when it is broken it can scare all children and some very shy adults. These are not extremely useful. They can climb stairs, so if you've got a fire upstairs and the robot is downstairs, wave byebye to your sim. You need a bronze talent badge to make these and when it is broken it will spray puddles everywhere. An upside to this is that it will water your plants for you. I don't know if this has changed little gem of information has changed your mind though.

These robots are in no way as good as a maid. The only things they can clean is rubbish dumped on the floor, or ash. When it is broken it will eject trash all over the place. And if there was ever a reason not to buy a robot this is it: when it has thrown trash all over the place you could die by flies. So unless you want to risk that, I don't suggest buying it.

You need a bronze talent badge if you want to make it. This robot will stun people who are trying to steal from your shop, and also any burglars. Plus, you know those pesky joggers who pick up your paper, read it and then run off with it? Well SentryBot will zap those as well. And anybody who even thinks of taking your gnomes, or anyone who tries to kick over your trash can. When broken it will stun random people, and you need a silver talent badge to make it.

One thing though, After it has stunned someone, you may think, "Shouldn't they have been un-stunned by now," and then maybe "Wow, who's that guy in the cloak? Wow, it's the Grim Reaper, what's he doing here? Because sometimes he kills people instead of stunning them.

Does he do it by accident? Nobody knows. This robot brings to anybody that has their hunger fall below a certain level while they are on your lot. However, you pay for this food, and it is the price for which you would normally pay, even for food that you would usually prepare yourself. When the robot senses somebody that is hungry on your lot, it leaves the lot and comes back with food for them. If this robot is broken it will bring back burnt food, but you will still have to pay full price.

This robot is very useful if you have lots of money, but I wouldn't recommend it for people who don't. You need a silver talent badge to make this robot. You need a gold talent badge to make this guy. This robot is the pinnacle of sim technology. Before you activate him you need to decide who is going to do it, because Servo get his aspiration and his personality from the sim who activates him, and also the skill points, except for cooking, cleaning and mechanical, all of which Servo has automatically got 10 of.

When you have activated him, you need to choose if it is male or female. Servo has only four needs: power, fun, social and environment. Power is like energy, but instead of going to bed Servo needs to stand out in the sunlight. Keep him away from water hot tubs, pools, showers as this will drain his power quickly. When he is completely out of power, he will go crazy and run around doing random things.

Only when he stops will you be able to repair him. Servo doesn't age, but can be killed in all the other ways a normal sim can. He can do anything any normal sim can except try for baby, but he can make other Servos anyway if he has a gold talent badge in robotics.

He can get a job and gets promotions very easily as he only has a few needs. NOTE: His carpool will not arrive if he is powered down before the message 'The carpool for - will arrive in about an hour' NOTE: He can also replenish his power by sleeping like normal sims. Most of the awards are given out by reviewers. But if you wanted to cheat to get money there are far easier ways. Multiply that by however many max cust you have, and you will have a rich sim very soon.

And while this is a mere fraction compared to the millions you can pull in using the excellent, optimal and super optimal strategies, its more than enough money to buy a dream home in a matter of days. If you are not a greedy person, you can stop here. If however, you feel that you can never have too many simoleons, then read on. An Excellent Business The next few stages are a huge jump in terms micromanagement, and real life time required but not Sim time as it must be run on a community lot.

IMO they are not worth the trouble, as the previous stage already earns you enough for most purposes, making these next stages completely unneccesary. But you can pull it off anyway just for kicks, or if you want to earn ridiculous sums for some challenge. From here on, you need to run the business on a community lot. You also need to be friends with most of the townies. These 2 requirements are actually indirectly related as you shall see.

Why a community lot? Further to that, relationships do not degrade over time: since dazzle adds points to both daily and lifetime, as the business runs, you quickly accumulate a fat chunk of lifetime points. If you were running this on residential, these points would be lost over the days, but not in community lots.

So you will eventually become friends and best friends with everybody! This is great for popularity sims, and if you need family friends for promotions. Why be friends? As your relationship score with the customer improves, you can swindle them into buying higher ticket prices with your 2 dazzles.

If you have been saving up those business perks, you might go for the connection grants that will give you relationship boost to the whole town, but it isn't necessary. Initially however, when your sim is merely an acquaintance with everyone else, you can't set your sights so high.

Your aim here is to keep the number of dazzles required to 2. So if you find the new price needs 3 or more dazzles, than lower it back to the previous price, and try raising it again next week. In my experience, from here on, raising the price causes the number of dazzles required to rise exponentially, but you can try anyway.

Following this, at 7 actual customers a day out of total 8 max cust , you should be able to pull in around 2. But if you want to be greedy to the limit, read on It is recommended that your business is at rank 10 for this, to get a full 8 max customers or whatever rank needed to bring in the maximum number of customers, based on your CPU limit.

Unlike the above models, once you start doing this, its very hard to gain customer loyalty. The above models have customer turnover, old ones leave once their energy is depleted with full stars , new ones come with no stars. So they can keep accumulating stars, gaining rank, and gaining higher max customers. This one is stagnant: the customer stays on the lot for all eternity or until you close shop , and so its very difficult to gain stars and climb ranks.

Basically, everything is the same as above, except that you try and keep your customers on the lot for as long as possible. In each session, customers waste time deciding whether or not to buy your tickets, and when customers leave, the game may take some time before it spawns another customer. Furthermore the game spawns dirt broke playable sims as customers half the time, and they can't afford your tickets, so it may take a long while to get another townie customer in.

And in this line of business, wasted time equals wasted money. Based on this, the way to improve your earnings further would be to stop your customers from leaving, and keep them on the lot 24 hours a day. The easiest way to do this is to cheat maxmotives. The non-cheating way involves rally forth. As per the requirements stated above, you need to sqeeze your customers into the rally forth zone for this to work.

If you also fenced out the rally area with snapdragons, that effectively covers the whole area, and you won't need any more.

You need at least TWO controllable sims for this, one with rally forth and the other goldbadge sales who is friends with the townies. You can also bring in more than 1 salesim if you want, but it isn't necessary. For the Rally Forth sim, you need to do a fair bit of micromanaging, alternating between Rally Forth, and chugging expresso.

Rally Forth helps keep the energy of everyone else up, so your customers can stay on forever, while your salesman can drink less expresso, and cope with the customer influx but he still needs to chug expresso constantly.

Once your max cust is reached, and no more new customers come, your sales sim can take it easy e. Then you can focus all your attention on the rally sim. Its up to you whether you think its worth the effort or not. But if you have managed to set this up, its only a small step away from After reaching the normal max customers 8 , you can try and push the limit even higher by INVITING more townies to the lot and getting them to become customers.

But make sure you have the facilities to keep them occupied, least mass fights break out. This is similiar to the optimal strategy, but tries to pack more customers into the given Rally Forth zone.

If your computer can barely handle 8 max cust, then don't try this at all! Don't be greedy and know when to stop.

Lot size starts to become important, as smaller lots leave more CPU space but not actual sim space for more customers. If you noted above, there is one extra requirement in that your salesim with gold badge and friends with most townies should have manipulate. The reason for this is that for some unknown reason, dazzle does not seem to be enough, once the number of overall sims on lot starts to exceed 8.

Therefore, you may have to hit them with 2 dazzles AND one manipulate to get them to buy. This might also be a side effect of inviting them over i. However, it might just be that my overworked processor isn't calculating the numbers correctly anymore, so experiment a bit on your own. Once more your rally forth sim can sacrifice his energy to replenish everyone elses including the sales sim , while relying on good old expresso to keep his own energy up. This lets you accumulate customers, as the old ones don't leave, even as the new invited ones come in.

Once you hit your normal max number of customers, switch your salesim to invitation duty and call all the other townies you are friends with to come over. Once they are there, they will automatically become customers, and your sales sim has to dazzle, and may even need manipulate. Because you are relying on invitation, you need to watch the clock, and invite townies at reasonable hours.

Sometimes the townie may be at work also. Because you may need manipulate, the energy demand is much higher now, so there is a limit to how many townies you can invite a day. As a result, it may take you several days to reach your planned number of customers.

This is very hard to set up, so once you have set it up, you should run it for as long as possible. This is also slightly risky as you might guess, but doable with a fast CPU I have a mid range computer managed 36 customers at once, with 2 controlled sims, but experienced a discernable drop in speed. Question is: is it worth all that effort and micromanaging? Just set it up and run for as long as you need. By my reckoning, even the most space conservative customer objects wont be able to fit more than 50 customers into the zone.

But then again, I don't have the other expansion packs, so I am not sure if there is any other magical way of sqeezing customers in. Without expansion packs, the most space efficient way of squeezing customers in would be by television, and lots of dining chairs not sofas or living chairs. Watching TV has about slightly above average AI preference, and is easily interupted, but it packs them in like nothing else. An example on how this may be done, can be found here: www.

Heres how: 1. When a customer comes in, get one of your controlled sims to watch TV. Now switch to buy mode, and rotate a chair to face the TV. Now get your sim to ask the customer to join him. The customer should go for the chair and sit down. This lets them switch duty quickly. In theory, you could expand the lot, and have 2,3, 4 and up to 7 seperate Rally Forth zones, each one run by a controllable sim Not 8 as you need the 8th controllable sim to be a salesman , and each one holding 40 or so customers.

But it requires nightmarish levels of micromanagement that is, if you don't want to cheat , and nothing short of a NASA supercomputer to run. Otherwise, if you are lucky enough to possess a cutting edge high end system, you might manage maybe zones, with around 80 customers in all. We could try and make a competition out of this, how many customers can you squeeze into your lot Servos Instead of Sims My instructions so far have been for your run-off-the-mill flesh and blood Sim.

But you might replace the Sim with a servo, in which case energy will come from the sun rather than from expresso. Servos also can recover energy a lot faster this way. If you are using a rally servo, then you have to spam rally during the day, but perform Rally maybe times per night, powering down in between to conserve power. Hopefully the excess energy from the day rallies will keep your customers in place.

Similiarly for the sales servo, You can probably handle any number of customers during the day, but you should power down at night to conserve power you can power back up quickly if another customer comes, thats the advantage of powering down as compared to meditation.

Undead: Zombies and Vampires I don't have any other expansion pack, so I cant really tell you about these guys, apart from the obvious. Zombies are just like normal Sims, except for speed, but if you pack everything into the small rally forth zone, it won't really matter Vampires probably won't make good customers, they can only stay for half a day, and effort spent on dazzling them into parting with their life or unlife savings will be cut in half.

And since you exert a large degree of selectivity on your customers I. Vamps also probably won't be able to run this business properly, at least not on their own. Since Servos rule the day, and Vamps rule the night, one obvious tactic would be to have both of them working in shifts.

Special Instructions There are some methods of doing things which are not immediately obvious, but which I will list here. Normally when you take a taxi to the community lot, either a single sim or the whole family will go. How then do you select just 2 controlled sims from the whole family? When you start out with no gold sales badge, and you set the ticket machine to whatever price e.

Simply, do the following: a Set the ticket machine to the cheapest price possible first e. The amount you need to buy depends on the present price of the objects on your lot.

Do you simply package a particular template lot, which you then use all over your neighbourhoods? Ever wished things could be a little cheaper? Well then Lot depreciation is for you! Basically, you take a rich sim family, preferably one with a meditator, and you purchase the commuity Lot in question. Finally, the meditator leaves the lot, and sells it, usually at a significant loss which is why this should be a rich family to start with.

You can then package the lot, and the objects on it will retain their degraded value. This makes it: 1 Cheaper to Buy especially for poor Sims. Think of it as buying second hand property, which is just as good, and much cheaper.

So if you don't buy anything new, you will sell the lot back for the exact same price you bought it for. This technique works easily enough for commercial lots. If you wish to use it on residential lots, you have to use the ChangeLotZoning cheat to change the residential property into a community one at the start. And then change it back to residential at the end. A personal recommendation is that you should alter the decorations each time you place the lot down, so that the neighbourhood wont be full of generic clones.

Maybe add an extra wing or turret, to give each lot a distinctive appearance. This is by no means necessary, its just to help your neighbourhood look nice. Lock all other rooms apart from the bathroom. As you earn perks use them on the cash grants. This will give you a big boost to buy more items such as a pool table and bubble blower. You may also want to buy a munchiebot to bring in food for your customers.

This is best used when you are starting with a new family. It is to expensive to run a profitable store early on in the game, so you can always switch your strategy later. Those that register get the hint about that. However, as they are prone to do, they forgot to activate this routine, so it doesn't work.

You'd need the new forcetwins cheat to do it. I don't know if it would work on men's pregnancies as well, although I assume so.

If you want to confirm it, build a sentrybot and place it in your store, and it'll start zapping particular people. However, there's also a hidden badge called 'security'. So far, I don't have a clue how to gain this badge, since I have no idea on how to catch shoplifters myself. You have to go out and use the turn off command. Don't forget to repair them once they've returned, or they will go out on their own again a few minutes later.
