I bought another one of these bags as I thought maybe the first one was defective. The inside material is also peeling in the 2nd bag. I have Many leather derek alexander bags and have never had a problem with any of them.

However, the inside material has peeled away. It is very annoying and gross. I have another derek alexander tote bag that I have owned for many years and continue use it everyday for my train commute to work and have never had any trouble with it. Disappointed that my mothers bag is not the same quality.
