There's a lot of information that could be linked between the two, like historical events happening in both places during the same time period, and it would make the story more intriguing.

Ubisoft already incorporated two other assassins from the Middle East into Valhalla : Basim and Hytham. Both have important roles in Assassin's Creed Valhalla's ending - which makes having an Altair feature even cooler; he could provide deeper context to both Basim and Hytham.
